With five performances taking place from June through September, this boutique rendition of the beloved opera is poised to be the cultural highlight of the summer on the Costa del Sol.
June 10, 2026: Passion, drama, and artistry return this summer to the amphitheater at Anantara Villa Padierna Palace Benahavís Marbella Resort, where Bizet's masterpiece Carmen will be presented in an intimate format that has become one of the Costa del Sol's most anticipated cultural events.
For the third consecutive year, the iconic resort—a member of The Leading Hotels of the World—will host this exclusive 75-minute production created by Anabel Sánchez, CEO of Classical Passion Productions. Under Sánchez's artistic direction, the immersive performance reimagines Bizet's masterpiece for contemporary audiences, combining musical excellence with an intimate setting that has become a hallmark of the hotel's summer cultural program.
The new season of Carmen will begin with its first performance on June 11 and continue throughout the summer with additional performances on July 16, August 6 and 20, and September 24, offering multiple opportunities to experience this production.
