March 12, 2026: Tivoli Hotels & Resorts is proud to announce the opening of Tivoli Maiorana Belém Pará, the brand’s third property in Brazil and its first in the country’s northern region. Located in the heart of Belém, the capital of Pará state and widely known as the gateway to the Amazon, the hotel arrives as global attention continues to focus on the city following its hosting of COP30. The destination is gaining recognition not only for its environmental importance but also for its vibrant culture and acclaimed gastronomy.
Located in the historic Campina neighborhood, just one block from the waterfront with stunning views of Guajará Bay, Tivoli Maiorana Belém Pará offers convenient access to many of the city’s most notable attractions. Guests are minutes from Estação das Docas, the lively Ver-o-Peso Market, the historic Praça da República, and the Basilica of Nazaré, placing Belém’s cultural and historic landmarks within easy reach.
The hotel features 176 accommodations, including elegant guest rooms, four spacious suites, and two Presidential Suites. The design blends contemporary style with regional influences, incorporating natural light, tropical materials, and refined comfort throughout the property. Located on the upper floors, the Presidential Suites span approximately 2,370 square feet and offer expansive living areas, panoramic views of the bay, a master bedroom with a king-size bed, separate living and dining spaces, a soaking bathtub, and personalized 24-hour butler service.
At the top of the building, SEEN Belém, created by renowned Portuguese chef and entrepreneur Olivier da Costa, combines a rooftop restaurant, bar, and lounge overlooking Guajará Bay. Designed as an urban observatory, the space features sunset views alongside creative cocktails and a menu that blends Brazilian and international flavors. SEEN Belém is open daily from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
The hotel also offers three additional dining venues: Must Restaurant & Bar, The Lobby Café, and Wine Bar & Trattoria inspired by Italian cuisine. Led by Executive Chef Frederico Miranda, Must Restaurant & Bar serves lunch with a menu focused on regional ingredients reimagined with modern culinary techniques.
The property will also feature the renowned Anantara Spa, scheduled to open later this year. Known for its Thai-inspired therapies, the spa will incorporate elements of Amazonian nature into its treatment experiences. Facilities will include four serene treatment rooms, a relaxation lounge, and a sauna. Additional wellness amenities include a rooftop outdoor pool and Tivoli Shape, a state-of-the-art fitness center.
For meetings and events, Tivoli Maiorana Belém Pará offers a dedicated floor with five flexible meeting and convention spaces, all with natural light and capacity for up to 500 guests. Each venue is equipped with advanced audiovisual technology and supported by a dedicated events team, making the hotel suitable for conferences, corporate gatherings, and private celebrations.
Located in the center of Belém, the hotel also serves as a gateway for exploring both the city and the surrounding Amazon region. Visitors can discover the Ver-o-Peso Market, one of the largest open-air markets in Latin America, known for its exotic fruits, Amazonian herbs, and local crafts. Nearby attractions include Mangal das Garças, an ecological park overlooking Guajará Bay, as well as the Forte do Presépio and the Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi, which highlight the region’s colonial history and biodiversity. Belém is also known for its distinctive cuisine, particularly dishes featuring açaí and fresh river fish, as well as the Círio de Nazaré, one of the world’s largest religious festivals held each October.
