March 10, 2026: Tivoli Alvor Algarve Resort, Tivoli Hotels & Resorts’ flagship all-inclusive resort in the Algarve reopens for the 2026 season from March 23 through the end of October. Located near the picturesque village of Alvor, the family-friendly getaway features 491 rooms, including 56 Premium Family units and four Premium Suites, combining comfort, entertainment and exceptional service for a carefree and complete holiday experience in southern Portugal.

The leisure facilities at Tivoli Alvor Algarve Resort include six heated swimming pools—five outdoor pools and one indoor pool. Outdoor options include an adults-only pool, three family pools, and a children’s pool, creating a range of spaces designed for relaxation and recreation.

Children ages 4 to 12 can participate in activities at the Pluma Junior Club, which features outdoor playgrounds with inflatables, a games room, a pool with slides, a kids’ park, mini-golf, and a supervised daily activities program. Teenagers aged 13 and older can take part in sports such as football, padel, and other recreational activities.

To help guests explore the destination, the resort offers a private train that connects the hotel to the center of Alvor village, while the region’s famous beaches are located a short walk away with direct access from the property.

Guests seeking both relaxation and activity will find a range of wellness and fitness facilities at the resort, including the Wellness Center, which offers a selection of spa treatments, along with a sauna, jacuzzi, and Turkish bath. Sports facilities include a multi-sport court, a padel court, and a new area dedicated to pétanque. The fitness center is equipped with modern gym technology, allowing guests to maintain their workout routine during their stay.

Dining at Tivoli Alvor Algarve Resort includes four restaurants, each with its own concept.

• At Essenze, guests can enjoy a buffet inspired by Portuguese and Iberian cuisine, served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in both indoor and outdoor settings.
• Carosello offers Italian à la carte dining, with antipasti served at the table and a weekly pizza workshop held every Thursday.
• Mad Med highlights Mediterranean flavors, focusing on fresh ingredients and regional products.
• Roastic specializes in meats and rotisserie dishes, offering both à la carte options and shareable plates. Adjacent to Roastic, an outdoor barbecue area operates exclusively for lunch in a relaxed setting.

In the afternoon, the Grab & Go service provides quick snacks and light bites, while Salty, located by the pools, serves drinks throughout the day. In the evening, Shore!, now in a new location with an updated design, becomes a social hub at the resort, offering classic cocktails and original creations. Guests interested in mixology can also participate in cocktail and beverage masterclasses at a pop-up bar.

The resort offers two all-inclusive packages geared toward different types of travelers and budgets.

Standard Plan

Includes access to the buffet restaurant and two resort bars. Access to the three themed restaurants (Roastic, Carosello, and Mad Med) is based on the length of stay:

• Minimum 3-night stay: 1 themed restaurant dinner
• Minimum 5-night stay: 2 themed restaurant dinners
• Minimum 7-night stay: 3 themed restaurant dinners

Premium Plan

The Premium option includes additional benefits, such as a credit at the Wellness Center, private check-in and check-out, an upgraded minibar, breakfast in an exclusive dining space, and guaranteed access to the themed restaurants throughout the stay.

Guests staying seven nights or longer receive one complimentary full-day entry to one of the Algarve’s major theme parks: Zoomarine, Slide & Splash, or Lagos Zoo. The stay also includes dining credit for select restaurants in the region, subject to availability and reservations made at least 72 hours in advance. Participating restaurants include Restinga Praia (Praia do Alvor), Ábabuja (Ribeira de Alvor), T-Bone Steakhouse (NH Marina Portimão), Sky Bar Carvoeiro, and The One Restaurant (Tivoli Carvoeiro), as well as Pepper’s Steakhouse, Oregano, and Purobeach Vilamoura (Tivoli Marina Vilamoura).
