Minor Hotels Announces the Expansion of Tivoli Hotels & Resorts in Italy with the Tivoli Palazzo Risorgimento Lecce

October 30, 2025 — Minor Hotels, a global hospitality group with hotels, resorts and branded residences across 59 countries, announces a new Tivoli Hotels & Resorts property in the heart of Puglia—its third hotel in Italy. Following an extensive renovation, Tivoli Palazzo Risorgimento Lecce will open in April 2026, becoming a new landmark in luxury hospitality in one of Italy’s most sought-after destinations—Lecce, often called the “Florence of the South” for its Baroque architecture and vibrant cultural scene.

Located in Lecce's historic center on Via Imperatore Augusto between Piazza Sant'Oronzo and Piazzetta Santa Chiara, Tivoli Palazzo Risorgimento Lecce will feature 45 elegantly appointed guest rooms, a ground-floor restaurant, and a rooftop lounge bar with breathtaking views of the Cathedral Bell Tower. Guests will also enjoy a wellness area with a pool, treatment rooms, Turkish bath, and fully equipped gym.

Surrounded by golden sandstone buildings, charming piazzas, and lively cafés and wine bars, the hotel will offer a refined blend of relaxation and culture in the heart of southern Italy. Within walking distance of major attractions such as the Roman Amphitheatre, Basilica di Santa Croce, and Lecce Cathedral, the property also provides easy access to the region’s beaches, just 20 minutes away by car. The city is conveniently connected via Brindisi Airport (a 35-minute drive) and high-speed rail links from major Italian cities.
