March 19, 2026: Taking place April 16 to 19, 2026, the inaugural Anantara Concorso Roma will bring together 70 historic Italian cars in the heart of Rome. Blending icons of Italian automotive engineering and design with the best of Roman hospitality, the event is a celebration of "La Dolce Vita della Automobili."

From Le Mans-winning Ferraris to immaculate Lancias, Anantara Concorso Roma is solely dedicated to Italian cars, and each one tells a captivating story. Hundreds, if not thousands, of hours can be dedicated to the preservation and restoration of concours-condition vehicles, making events like this a rare opportunity to see cars of this condition and significance in one space.

Postponed in 2025 following the passing of Pope Francis, the Concorso has been expanded and enhanced in the intervening twelve months. It will be open to the public on April 18 and 19, with judging taking place on Saturday and the winners announced on Sunday.

The 70 historic Italian cars will compete across 16 classes, from “Le Zagato ante-guerra” to “Le hypercar,” spanning both road and race cars from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Lancia, Fiat, and more. Highlights include a 1932 Maserati V4 Sport Spider Zagato, a 1955 Ferrari 375 MM Coupé Speciale Ghia, and 1959 examples of the Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Interim Pinin Farina and Lancia Flaminia Sport Sperimentale Zagato, as well as a 1986 Ferrari Testarossa Spider. The full list of classes and entrants is attached.

Anantara Concorso Roma is organized by Anantara Hotels & Resorts and presented by UBS. It is hosted by Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel and is supported by event partners Richard Mille and Lockton Wattana. In addition, other confirmed partners include Maserati, Schedoni Modena, RM Sotheby's, American Express, Gulfstream, Sanlorenzo, Globeair, Tenute Lunelli, Whispering Angel, Veuve Clicquot, Lavazza, Acqua di Parma, Technogym, Renauld, CARS, Octane, Cover Car, Ripense, Antica Manifattura Cappelli, La Dolce Vita, FICOFI, Automobile Club D'Italia, ASI, Comune di Roma, and ACLI.

William E. Heinecke, Founder & Chairman of Minor International, parent company of Anantara and long-time classic car collector and enthusiast, commented: “There is a unique atmosphere in Rome and an incredible history of car racing and concours, so when we set out to establish a new Concorso event for the world’s finest examples of historic Italian cars, the Eternal City was the obvious choice. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Roma Capitale, the people of Rome, and to everyone who has made the event possible. I am confident that with the support of our esteemed partners, we will successfully establish Anantara Concorso Roma as an annual event on the international concours calendar.”

Benjamin Cavalli, Head of Strategic Clients & Global Connectivity, UBS Global Wealth Management and CoHead EMEA OneUBS, commented: “UBS is delighted to present the Anantara Concorso Roma – where exceptional craftsmanship, design, and engineering converge. We’re excited to bring our global community together for this unique celebration of heritage and innovation.”

Anantara Concorso Roma is also supported by Roma Capitale, the city’s governing authority. “Anantara Concorso Roma is a major international event that celebrates an Italian lifestyle admired worldwide while helping to promote a positive image of Rome,” said Alessandro Onorato, Councillor for Sport, Tourism, Fashion, and Major Events for Roma Capitale. “I am particularly attached to this event because, last year, despite its postponement following the sad passing of Pope Francis, a meaningful legacy was still created through the donation of a refrigerated van to ACLI Rome to support the collection and distribution of surplus food. This year, fundraising efforts tied to the event will support the creation of ACLI Rome’s Solidarity Pantry, including the purchase of refrigeration equipment and the setup of storage and distribution facilities. These are tangible legacies that underscore the important role major events play in improving the city.”
